General Description

ISI Denpasar FSRD Product Design Study Program is held in the framework of:

Scientific development, product design based on local wisdom values, diversity of aesthetics and techniques expressing Archipelago designs, as well as being adaptive to global product design developments
Learning Outcomes, Projecting graduates as Creators (designers), Reviewers (Researchers/Critics), Presenters (Curators), Coaches (educators), and Entrepreneurs (Interpreneurs) product designs that are creative, innovative, and superior.
Curriculum, scientific formulation and product design outcomes based on Indonesian local wisdom values; the learning system combines case study methods, field research, laboratory-based material experiments, and digital technology-based design innovations; carried out in line with the Merdeka Learning Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) learning program.

Superiority

Practices in the field of creation and product design research, both traditional, modern and contemporary, which are creative and innovative. Taking into account market segments, as well as solving field technical problems related to community needs in the field of Product Design.

Graduate Prospects

Profile of graduates of the Product Design Study Program, able to initiate, design, create, study, and present industry-based creative and innovative products in meeting market needs, by exploring and cultivating the potential of Balinese local wisdom. Graduates of the Product Design Study Program are able to project market needs, from developing case studies, formulating creative and innovative design ideas, realizing products using hand-drawing, design software both 2D and 3D. Able to implement designs into copyrighted prototypes, and produce various Product Design products that take market segments into account, as well as solve field technical problems related to community needs in the field of Product Design.

The graduate profile is attached to graduates of the Product Design Study Program with a Bachelor of Design degree (S.Ds.).
